Biography
Prof. Armen Saghatelyan graduated from Yerevan State University, Department of Geology. Received his PhD degree in 1985 and the academic degree of Doctor of geol.-mineralogical sciences in 2000 at the Institute of Mineralogy, Geochemistry and Crystallochemistry of Rare Elements (Moscow). Since 1993 Prof. Saghatelyan has been the Founder Director of the Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies of National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia. He has been heading a number of national and international research projects. A member of several international professional organizations. The author and co-author of over 200 scientific publications.
